The last battle of "The 13th Warrior"
Posted by JohnnyBgood on 8/22/13 at 6:03 pm10
Lo, there do I see my father...
I love this movie, but I think the ending is just fantastic and Buliwyf goes out like a boss. Truly an underrated movie that didnt do well at the box office and was hammered by critics.

Banderas! Underrated action star that's why he's in Expendables 3.

Movie was really good.
I always thought it was messed up how he picked a fight with that guy by throwing mud on him, just so he could kill him after he got pissed.
The guy was even nice about it at first

There were so many parts and quotes in this movie that still give me goose bumps because they were so krunk.

the "lost" directors cut is def my holy grail movie. if it even still exists, ive come to accept that i will probably never get a chance to see it.

I remember this being marketed as a big film for Antonio Banderas, then when I saw it the 12 other warriors were fricking awesome and Banderas was just standing around.

Banderas sucked in this movie. It would have been far better without the Muslim angle.
The part when Banderas suddenly begins to understand their language gives me the shite giggles. Ruhtarded.

wow...you didnt really pay attention to the movie if you got this out of the language scene.
Great movie and the Muslim angle is what makes the story great, he becomes their brother thru all of it and being an educated Muslim is able to 'draw words' their story so it is remembered.

Truly an underrated movie
Totally agree.
My 3 favorite movies with great battle scenes:
1. 13th Warrior
2. King Arthur
3. Kingdom of Heaven
All of them are underrated and yet have all the ingredients that make a great movie.

One of my favorite movies. Definitely underrated IMHO.

I like this list except for King Arthur. I just didn't like the movie and thought it was way to corny.
KoH is one of the best sword fighting movies. I'd replace King Arthur with The Last Samurai.

Lo there do I see my father, Lo there do I see my mother, my Sisters and my brothers , Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call me, they bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever
