re: LSU Offensive Line - Reason to be concerned?

The only position I'm concerned with is center. The fact that Elliot Porter hasn't locked down the job and is being pushed by a freshman who hadnt taken a snap before coming to LSU is worrisome

that's one way to look at it. Another is that maybe Pocic is as good as billed and we have two capable guys there in case the likely situation of injuries hit.

and with out miller, tbob and jish d, we would have lost more games. They gave us depth at multiple positiins. O line sees more injuries than any position on the team.

Injuries/continuity on the OL are the biggest threat to this season, IMHO.

There are four veterans who have not played: Fanaikai, Austin, Edinburgh, and Washington. Are they capable backups? If one of those guys can play guard, and if the Pocic/Porter battle is happening because Pocic is great not because Porter sucks, then we're good.

I like the strength of the backups. Depth is the key and we need to have no more injuries.

I agree completely whoever is saying Porter isn't legit bc Pocic is on his arse is retarded! Pocic is legit and is living up to the hype coming out of high school. the dude is a true Tackle but is too good to keep off the field so they are trying him out at center for depth. He will end up at tackle in the future!

I agree that it's more likely Pocic is just that good. He's really athletic for his size, and he's actually got some more filling-out to do. Plus, he always has that look on his face like he could just waste you at any second and not give half a frick about it.

You must not remember the last time that Les said that our offensive line would be the strength to the team. Or you do Nevermind! This time, he is right!

Yeah it's been said Pocic is athletic enough to play Tight End.

It will be interesting to see if Porter can keep the starting job.

No, T Bob Hebert did not do anything to prevent LSU from losing more games! If you truly think that he was the best player at that position then you need to go back and watch some tape. T Bob performed worse than any other offensive lineman at LSU that I can recall.

OL will be a liability, not a strength. They can't pass block. Can't pick up blitz's. No Center. Williford gone. More injuries to come. Potential is only that. Will have to prove themselves in the SEC. Baby Whitworth shows potential, but will have to mature quickly.

Rantard Fart Knockers who have never ever worn a jock opinions of OL. Humorous reading to lighten up the day.

Couldn't this mean our Dline dominated and is better then previously thought?

Miles already said they were adapting faster than expected and that the o-line could be the best talent he,s had on the o-line since he,s been there
