Baked chicken, boudin stuffed bell peppers and roasted asparagus.

I like your handle Mr. Boudini.

That sounds goooooood, Gris.

Leftover beef short ribs. Thinking of doing mashed cauliflower so I have something to put under the red wine/jus/gravy/stuff.

But after you've had roasted cauliflower, can any other kind be as good?

Well, I'm not too excited about the baked chicken since I'm not a chicken lover, but sometimes you just have to eat the stuff and you can't always eat it fried or slathered in a sauce to provide flavor to what otherwise tastes like cardboard to me. I can season it up enough to make it tolerable, though. I will love the rest of the food. Simple, pedestrian and delicious.

You have to fry that meat to get the real flavor, you know.

Browned off chicken thighs (bone in) made a roux with the drippings and extra butter. Used city stock, garlic and thyme as flavor... Jasmine rice and super green salad with bolthouse yogurt honey mustard and some day old French bread for gravy

Yes, I know, and that's the very best part. This isn't any boneless skinless business I'm having! It's leaded!
