It's the south in August. Gonna be hot. Won't be as humid as Baton Rouge. Been real nice lately but will probably be early 90s for sure

The its hot crowd sounds like a bunch of pussies.
I can't fathom why those morons can't come to a consensus on when to open the lots. For the ducks those lots were open at 730.
I'm sure bama fans tailgated early last year as well as any other college teams fans.

Just try to get into the stadium early; I stood in the security line for an hour to get inside for the Oregon game.

For Oregon game, LSU fans started showing up at 7:00 am sitting in line at parking lot gates & clogging up all the streets around the stadium (published opening time was 11:am if I remember correctly). That's when they decided to open the lots, so traffic would flow better around stadium.

See the excerpts from the e-mail string below. I was talking to Vincent Tran at guestcomments@dallascowboys.net.
It has been finalized and confirm that the parking lots will open at 2:00 pm for the LSU vs. TCU game.

Subject: Re: directions - Opening of Parking Lot
I really do hope the Stadium organization re-considers the time to open the lots. We have plans for a fun day tailgating which included setting up a canopy, cooking jambalaya, and enjoying our experience at Cowboy Stadium. It will not be worth it to haul all the equipment and food from Louisiana/Arkansas for just a couple of hours of tailgating.
If the lots don't open until 3:00 p.m., we would probably just park and stand around for a little while and then go inside the stadium. It would seem that if the Stadium organization hosted such events as the LSU-TCU game that it would want people to come and enjoy the day and not just a couple of hours.
Please contact the appropriate people about opening the lots around noon. I will check back as the date of the game approaches to see if there has been any changes.
Thanks. We and I am certain many others will appreciate anything you could do.

Right now we anticipate the parking lots opening at 3:00 pm but that may change as we get closer to the event.

Good morning. I will be attending the LSU-TCU game for the Cowboy Classic on Labor Day weekend. We would like to get the parking lot when it opens so as to park near a grassy area for tailgating. We are in Lot 4. What time will the parking lot open? Thanks

quote:Maybe, however this is not a campus. From my experience from the Oregon game, around the stadium it sucks! There really is not much in the area. It would take a quality opponent for me to go back and drop that much coin!

Don't know for sure brah. One of my buddies is the one who got the parking pass.
I didn't have any trouble in the heat for the Oregon game. Keep the fluids heavy and the heat ain't a problem.
