Don't waste time going to Arlington or Ft Worth.

You realize that TCU is in Fort Worth right? Trust me, you won't be wasting your time if you're in ft worth

If you are staying at the omni downtown, 7th is just across the river and it has many great bars and restaurants.

You can walk around sundance square in downtown and there will be plenty to do as well.

The stockyards are pretty close by as well, just got to head northwest a little.

If you really want, you can go towards TCUs campus, but honestly it's a lot quieter than other parts of town

The Friday before the Oregon game I walked to the Flying Saucer, and then the dueling piano bar. Had a good time. It's a cab to the Stockyards but we want to go to Billy Bob's at night this time--last time we just went in the early afternoon to see it.

Would be interested in some other specific bar recs in the area.

I'll be starting at Chimy's in Fort Worth then walking down the street to Capital Bar.

If you want to hang out with all the local Horned Frog chicks, than you won't be.

But if you want real SMOKING HOT women, you go downtown Dallas.
