I know, water is wet.

I mean he's carrying a freakin 1.80 ERA in Mid-August while also leading all of baseball in WHIP (.85) & WAR (6.1). He's led the Majors in ERA the past 2 seasons & led it in WHIP last year & finished second behind Verlander 2 years ago.

We are watching a historically great pitcher right now.

Didn't he win the Cy Young a couple years back?

Oh yeah, he did.

He pitched tonight against the Phillies and I was at the game. 8 innings and gave up 3 hits, faced 27 batters and threw less than 100 pitches. He had first pitch strikes on nearly all batters. His movement is nasty and his 94-95 mph fastball mixed with his curve is just straight filthy.

I remember saying before the season that he was the best in baseball. I was laughed at by VerlanderBEAST.

He's such a tremendous human being as well. Him and his wide, Ellen, donate so much to needy children in Africa.

They built an orphanage down there a few yrs ago too.

And he loves the Aggies. Would have come here if he had gone to college.
