200 rush, 250 pass, Miles says. #LSU

Miles: Mettenberger 18-for-25 or thereabouts.

Miles: Welter is having very strong fall camp. Linebackers in general are playing well. #LSU

Les Miles said Terrance Magee was the lead rusher in today's #LSU scrimmage

Miles: asked about Hill, notes Magee leading rusher, mentioned Blue. Said Hill had "a couple of plays" but not "specifically spectacular."

Coach Miles on Jeryl Brazil: We’re using him in a number of ways, but first is as a corner and second is as a returner.

Miles: DeSean Smith had a couple of nice catches. Dural was nicked and limited. #LSU

Miles on who stood out on defense: Danielle Hunter knocked down a couple passes and created havoc on the offense at times.

Miles: mentioned Hunter and Allen among the ends. Rasco held out. #LSU

Delahoussaye 4-for-4 on field goals. #LSU

Miles: Mettenberger threw 4 TDs. Two each to Beckham and Landry. #LSU

Tough to tell too much early on, both sides looked pretty tired. Energy level picked up when they started blaring music to simulate crowd noise.

Gotta say I really like the look of the offense under Jennings. He's not starting this year, but its clear he's the heir

I hope the lack of an answer doesn't mean a green shirt

Highlights from what I saw at the scrimmage were, Micah Eugene, Jarvis Landry, and Jennings. Defense is gonna be really good. Mett threade a few needles, and is a leader at all aspects. JC Copeland is a nasty mofo in big cat drill fa sho!

Would it matter if some random guy who you don't know told you that in a practice that Mett looked better than last year?

lol no kidding. I'm always more curious about the defense after every scrimmage considering we've been a top 10 team the last few years with a shitty offense

I just accept that the offense will never be anything special but with a mediocre defense we're fricked

BilJ, I have one question... is there anything we are doing offensively (scheme-wise) that is noticeably different from last year?
