Not uncommon at all.

The heat sensors (?) in the head still react.

No doubt.

I had no clue anti-venom was that expensive. And some of the stuff I have read today says that copperhead bites really do not need it. They give it just in case it's another N American pit viper. Just $55Gs for just in case.

Thats why if you get bitten, you take them the snake, preferably alive, kind of like a core charge
