Trey looked like such a weiner during Down by the River with his little power hops

I'm sure he was certainly psyched to be playing with one of his heroes. Hell I would've been, too. "Down by the River" is the very song that got me into long guitar jams and extended grooves.

I'm still really bummed Neil dropped out. Instead of TAB they should have just had Neil sit in with Phish like the epic Farm Aid '98 show.

If anyone could make me enjoy Phish it would be Neil.

Fogherty came out with panic on Saturday. Zac brown with cheese and furthur on Friday. Bob played with black crowes, tedeshi trucks, and panic on Sunday. Trey played with further saturday. Never been to a more relaxed festival. Security was hardly noticeable. You could do what you wanted to, walked in with a 6 pack and a bag of wine each day. Girl from tedeshi trucks blew me away. She shredded harder than anyone there. Cheese was the best to me(I'm a little biased toward them though). Just an absolutely perfect weekend of music and people. Weather was the best I've had at a festival. 85 high during the day. 55 low. Beautiful weekend in Virginia.

Supposedly they have this land now and will have two festivals a year, may and September. One thing was parking was quite a walk, when they said bikes are highly recommended they meant it it was a good mile and a half walk to the venue.

Yeah all the streams I've heard are pretty good. Still can't believe I couldn't make it

Why are you biased towards Cheese?

Just like their music more than any of the other bands there. Can't wait for hulaween (7 sets, 4 on Halloween night)

Wish I would have snuck in though. Was never once asked to show my wristband and like I say, walked in with beers in my hands everyday. Was a joke security wise.

For how lenient security was, I never once saw a problem with anyone. One guy tried to jump over into VIP but that's the worst I saw.
