only i was wondering if what appears to be black spotting on Deidra's lips can be removed without messing up her smile. if not it's cool, because you guys did a great deal of work on the picture and it looks great.

I am Sarah and I am VJ's good other half, some days & bad others. I just want to "Thank You" each and all from the bottom of my heart for this, it is something else and I just cannot stop crying. This was Deidra's last Halloween and my Mom was in chemo so you cannot possible know how much this picture means to me. So once again with the deepest appreciation and respect I "Thank You".

The both of you are very welcome. It was an easy decision for us to help you after hearing of the tragedy you had/have to deal with.

Your thanks and appreciation is all we need in return. Some people get their requests filled here and then just leave without saying "Thank you," so the fact that you got on the keyboard, Sarah, and expressed yourself to us means a lot.

Many blessings to the both of you.

Guys, I'll never be able to carry y'alls jock. Damn dust/sun/onions, whatever. This is just awesome, and why I lurk here.

And to the OP, God bless you. I lost my Mom when I was a kid. I have 2 sons now, and can't imagine what you've been through.

I teared up, she looks just like my daughter.

As a photographer, I would get rid of the wood beam behind grandma. Plus, try to burn the backgrond a little to separate it from the ladies. I would try it but my PS skills cannot even come close to some of these guys.

Also to VJP, if you can remove it from the frame with the glass and scan it on high resolution, this guys could do even better work than the amazing stuff they have already done.

Thanks for lending your photographic eye. I first took away the wood beam but put it back several editions later. I guess I should have stuck with my original creative thought on that.

All the positive responses to the thread are pleasant to see.

i guess i was stupid for not even letting that cross my mind. The guys worked so hard on this and did a beautiful job, and Sarah loves it. We're happy.

Pain Train,

I took the little angel's face and ran it through Portrait Professional to make it less grainy and sharpen the eyes and mouth. Plus, I lightly painted in the rope and stripes on her dress.
