How does a keeper league work.. been playing fantasy for 5 years and haven't attempted it.
I get the gist that you keep one or two from previous year but how does that draft go?

Never tried a keeper league.
I would imagine the drafts are not quite as fun?
I wouldn't care either way.
Have little interest in a auction league.

Same way as NFL draft goes. Worst record picks first down to Super Bowl champ picking last.

Do you lose picks? Say I decided to not keep any player, do I have an extra pick?

Keep it simple. Whatever round you pick a guy in if you keep him you lose the round above next year. If you don't want to keep anyone you don't have to.
Essentially we just have a list of players that can't be drafted until a specific round by the owner keeping them.

The ones I am in we just keep one player. Then the draft goes in normal order. Think of it as that player counts as your first round pick.

We need to set the draft order today or tomorrow. First I'll be reversing the standings from last year then need everyone to tell me where they want to pick. If you finished in 12th last year, you will have first choice and so on and so on.
SJS finished last, but Chad will be coming in new, so he's going to have the last choice of draft spot.
