Sounds like the talk of him being terribly out of shape might have been an exaggeration.

Miles said he was pretty rusty, but he didn't look out of shape at the press conference.

He's probably the best player on the entire team pound for pound.

Not sure about that.

He certainly proved it last year

Name someone that's a better football player on the LSU team

He's never finished a season without being beaten out for starter, or injured.

Who was the outright starter in 2011? Ford had the most yards, but he never came in like a starter.

Blue was the starter before getting hurt. He didn't exactly look bad. It is unfortunate that he was unable to play vs a quality team.

I'm not saying Blue is greater than Hill. I just think their situations are not the same.

Hill is an awesome running back, but from what I remember last year, Blue was even better before the injury. Either way, we'll see a lot of both.

second team with Stephen Rivers

Don't even care about Hill running 2nd team, I thought Jennings was running 2nd team QB?

Idiots. They know nothing. Rivers and Hill are first team.

Ok, debate it.

You honestly think Hill is the best player on the entire football team?

Having Jennings practice separately from Mettenberger right now probably gives him more quality reps.

If blue wouldn't have been hurt, hill would never have really been given a chance to start.

Had blue, ford, and ware ahead of him.

Just shows that the most talented player sometimes doesn't get to play over the more senior players. Can't say that much with miles players though. Lots of younger players play.

Who's better?

He's a top 3 RB in the SEC

Loston hasn't really shined in 3 years and got his ankles broken on the biggest play of the year.. A replay that is shown over and over again.

Hill is the best player on the team. Better than Blue and will be drafted higher.

It's day 2. Everybody knows that he's practicing, and he's got to run with some group. Did anyone really expect him to be running with the walk-on's by themselves? Over the past few years LSU hasn't necessarily had a "starting" RB. They all play. Many time the starter doesn't even end up with the most carries in the game. That being the case, I'm sure there will be times this month where Blue runs with the 2's and McGee runs with the 1's. Or Hill is with the 1's and Hillard is with the 2's, or any other combination. I wouldn't look into this tweet too much. It doesn't mean that Hill is going to eventually be the starter for the TCU game, nor does it mean that he won't play at all.

IMO, I don't think Hill plays against TCU. Sort of a suspension, without Les announcing it as a suspension.

He is... Only arguments could be Anthony Johnson, maybe Collins, and maybe Blue (only because we never saw what he could do against SEC competition as the starter last year. Ability is there)

If not for the incident Hill is strongly entrenched at #1 and its not close. Les said as much yesterday.

He'll be back there soon enough.

We just have to go through the show of hill running with the 2's.

Miles has games to win, not the morality championship.

And hell, bama leads the country for the fulmer cup and Lsu isn't even in the top 10
