Yardage-wise, UL played 3 teams whose defense ranked top 10 nationally (UF/UConn/Rutgers).

meh... it only pays out if he suffers a career ending injury, I believe.... he can still lose a fortune with a significant injury.
How in anyway is he not a smart kid for doing this
He will have a college degree and 10 million dollars. It is a pretty good back up for a lack of a professional career.

i guess it all comes down to how much the policy costs... but how many draft eligible QBs suffer career ending injuries in a given year?... zero?
We hear about these policies every year, but I can't ever remember one paying out... not saying it doesn't happen, but it's extrememly rare, if ever.

Okay, but when it does happen? Wouldn't you want to have that there just incase.

in those games he passed for 860 yards, 6 TDs/3 INTs and completed 64% of his passes with average talent around him

Yeah, clearly a stat padder. Didn't play anyone.

He'd get destroyed against an SEC team though.

Bridgewater is very good but I don't think he's as consistently great as people who only saw him in the Florida game think. Dude played out of his mind.
It's like if I only saw Mett against Bama, I'd think he was one of the greatest QBs in the country.

sure, but at what cost?... and it might be worth it just for the peace of mind for your final college season.
with that said, it would have to be pretty significant injury to end his career... you don't see many of those, especially for QBs. He could still tear his ACL and not collect.

It doesn't matter that it wasn't a QB.
Your whole argument was he played against weak competition that made him look better.
The same should apply to a lineman who dominated the MAC.
Except it didn't.
B/c scouts ultimately DGAF about that shite.
Hell, Flacco was drafted 18th and he went to f-ing Delaware.
By your logic he should have been drafted somewhere in the 6th round, if at all.

and i guess you think flacco is an elite qb also?
oh wait he won a superbowl.. he must be! They should make a monument with the most elite qbs in nfl history.. flacco, dilfer, and brad johnson! all have won superbowls and still even after that you could probably find 3-4 teams that would take them as their qb right now.

so who pays the massive premium on this policy??? I can't imagine the monthly payments on that.
