Considering it will only have a limited number of general seating, the majority of which being opposing fans relocated from the lower level, no it won't for SEC games. All these seats are suites and stadium club so it'll be full.

Especially since Hart Lot is now half closed and half resident lot so no more parking there

So is it 103,500 or 99,000???

Just looking at the seating chart it sure does look big. It looks as big as the east and west upper decks. The east upper deck added 11,000.

I'm guessing 10k more seats so 103 area would make sense. Really doesn't matter though.

There's no way that could be less than 100k.

I don't necessarily expect it to be just as large as the east and west uppers, but the upper level in the seating diagram would have to be way out of scale for it to only consist of the 5-6 rows of seats shown in the original cross-section.

I guess there'll still be parking in there, but obviously half as much. That's gonna be a clusterfrick. Those parking lots out by the river will probably be the best places.

That obese woman in a scooter selling parking spots is gonna be making bank though, as well as all the other ghetto lots.

1. It looks like a large area for seats?
2. I doubt they'd want to stop at 99,500 or something. 100,000 sounds and looks more impressive than 99,000.

Why doesn't the SW corner curve like the SE?

Never mind I see it.

The AD needs to build a massive high rise parking garage on the site of the old Alex Box. It's nothing but a tacky public eyesore gravel parking now. Might take 4 hours to get out of the garage after a game, but at least it would alleviate some of the parking problems.

I kind of agree...LSU was one of the biggest schools not to have a parking garage anywhere, and even the new one by the Union doesn't help much. At least not having to walk far to your car is worth sitting in line in the garage?

The old Alex Box lot will soon be part of the residential/retail/office Nicholson corridor development.

Forgot about that. Maybe on the levee lot then?

I believe they're still planning on building a parking garage on the site of the old softball stadium, behind the Natatorium.

Hm. I guess that could work. Not as much space there though, but it's a little closer and could also be resident parking during the week so the engineering + business dorms, Pentagon, WCA, etc. don't all have to fight over the rapidly dwindling amount of space they have on that side of campus.

How many rows are there on the east and west upper decks?

Picture makes the expansion look similar in number of rows as compared to the east and west decks.
