Lavar Edwards was our best DE last year. He really played to help his stock.
Not sure what Sam's issue was last year but he underperformed.
Mingo also to a degree.
I won't be suprised at all if this year's DL isn't MUCH improved. Alot of hungry young bucks wanting to make a name for themselves.

Not really, tons of LSU guys come back to campus in the summer to work out with the current players. When they run weekly 110's with the players most of the NFL guys cut out before 16 because they can't hang anymore. And it's the same conditioning they had to do while at LSU. NFL guys have to be a lot bigger and stronger but you'd be surprised on the conditioning part of it relative to college.
