Any Tips on Fishing Lake Borgne Area?

Lauched at Rigolets Marina last week, went through Rigolets, under the rail bridge and fished the Intercoastal to the Right (west).

Doing some reading, some suggest the rigs in Lake Borgne. Thinking I might try that tomorrow.

Suggestions welcome. (baits, methods or other?)

Trying to learn a whole nother skill...

Llive shrimp, Fish the crab traps floats and rigs for Tripletail.

Windy, stormy, limited on keeper reds, and a handful of sheepsheads.

Alligator Point aint no secret. That inside hole might be though.

Which of the 2 spots he posted did you hit and what were you using as bait? We will be trying this weekend.

I only saw one of the spots/areas circled in red.
I'm gonna have to lurk better and quicker from now on!

Double Bayou Lagoon isn't a secret. It's popular with the yakers.
