re: I would like to read the texts of TM.

Trayvon zombies won't care, now that all the facts are out, people are clinging to the "well he should've listened to the poleez and stayed in his car." It is well established, trayvon was beating him up, brutally...so what else can you use to convince them?

Which is why all that SHOULD have happened is if TM didn't like being followed, he could've asked why he was being followed and upon being asked why he was there, pointed to the house where he was staying.

Or, GZ could have notified the authorities and remained in his vehicle. Or GZ could have identified himself as neighborhood watch when he started following TM. Or he could have called out Hey Kid. Where are you heading?

Why is it up to TM to ask why he is being followed?

GZ was the only adult and as you pointed out also an actual authority figure. He handled his authority terribly. Hell even uniformed police officers in marked cruisers identify themselves verbally.

For those that agree with the verdict, yes.

There are like 4 threads a day that all bash him from this board alone. I don't think agreeing or disagreeing with the verdict has anything to do with it anymore.

Black folk think that the Law is unjust, O; do you think that could be a problem for a lot of kids dying?

Suppose Bernacke can't keep conjuring money up to the tune of a TRILLION a year. Suppose all those checks in the mail go away. Suppose Jackson/Sharpton/Wright et al blame the "rich white people" and point to Trayvon and the Law.

Dude...this *injustice* rogue elephant needs to be put down. Or it'll get ugly when the money quits flowing.

He got out after the dispatcher asked,"can you still see him?" When Z said that he would get out to see, it was to maintain TM's location for the police.

The fact that Z was told, "we don't NEED to do that", it was not an order, but a comment to release him from the "obligation" as may be perceived by the dispatcher's question.

IF Trayvon is walking down the sidewalk like a normal person instead of ducking in and out between the buildings, none of this happens.

IF Trayvon was at home getting ready for school the next day instead being suspended and up at dad's house, none of this happens.

What IF is a game anyone can play.

Probably some truth to that but those driven by agenda and not justice are the ones keeping this bus rolling. I don't know about you but I'm not going to idly sit by while people accuse me of racism concerning this incident when it's been proven it wasn't by local officials that investigated the incident.

Ok, so you agree, neither of them was doing anything illegal. So the question is, who started the physical altercation, because that is the first illegal action that took place. And the little evidence we have, points to TM staring that

Initially? No.

I just think the only grown man and authority figure involved in this fiasco handled the situation with a level of stupidity that borders on negligence and it resulted in a dead body.

GZ obviously did not have the maturity or decision making skills he should have to be an armed neighborhood watchman.

OMG

What does punching someone in the nose border on? It's doesn't border on assault - IT IS ASSAULT!!!!. That's what resulted in a dead body.

Regardless of your OPINION of GZ, he has a constitutional right to carry a firearm and serve his community.

Zimmerman was/is a resident of that neighborhood. He can walk up and down those sidewalks whenever he damn well pleases whether a dead thug is walking them or not.

I fully support those rights.

I just think he handled this terribly and I expect more from an armed adult in a position of authority than from a 17 year old dumbass. (To be clear, all 17 year olds are dumbasses. I was. You were. ALL)

Well, it was up to him to choose between that and just kicking the guy's ass.

TM chose the latter.

First guy to do something ILLEGAL was the guy who thought kicking the other dude's arse was the proper way to deal with the situation.

Zimmerman could've done his stupid shite for the next 100 years and as long as no one moronically thought it was a justification to whip his ass, no one would be dead.

You can spin in all the circles you want. NOTHING Zimmerman did was a justification to start an assault on him.
