Not directly, no, but it's a reasonable inference that, since Sims is still listed with a Bama offer on all of the sites, some other players will be in the same situation. Alabama offers aren't the only ones with conditions attached, after all. It's not useful evidence for a particular player's offer list to be reliable, though, you're right. A more apt example would be Rhaheed, who still has an LSU offer listed on 24/7 but is known to no longer hold one. AFAIK, the sites just don't remove offers once they're on there.

You explained my site point I was trying to make and I don't know WHY Sims Alabama offer was non-committable, but I think we all know it is. I don't know either way on the Rhaheed offer rescinded eventually, but I wouldn't be shocked after he whined about not being communicated with enough and supposedly leaving messages to LSU coaches to make them look bad and arrogant, you and I now have better chances to become Tigers than he does.

My bad. Didn't read the rest. Was just dumbfounded that someone would think we would take Santos over Brown or Jones. But I don't think the staff would tell one of the guys to take a hike. What a lot of people don't realize is that a greyshirt and TOPS pretty much is a scholarship. So, yeah if numbers get tight I could see someone getting a greyshirt. As much as I hate to say it, it could possibly be my boy DJ. :

So you trust the LSU mods when they say Rhaheed doesn't have an offer, but not when they say Ramirez has one?

That's my thought regarding the Ramirez offer. Johnson is probably out. I haven't really been high on him throughout the process, either, so I don't think of it as a big loss if we were really as close to getting him as we thought.

I don't have a point of view either way, I just don't think the offer lists are perfect. They become less reliable as the year goes on and offers come and go, but the lists are rarely (if ever - I've never seen a kid lose an offer on those lists) updated.

Wow, you aren't even trying to connect the dots huh? Cameron Sims and Adam Taylor are PERFECT examples of why "several services reporting this offer" + 50 cents will buy you a cup of coffee.
It is PERFECTLY relevant. Just because an offer is SUPPOSEDLY made doesn't mean squat until the kid accepts it and it shows up as a commitment. Like I said, if what you believe is true, then Adam Taylor is on the LSU roster for 2013. He SUPPOSEDLY had an offer, but he didn't did he? And the same services you are quoting or want to quote said he had an offer.

Cameron Sims isn't an example of shite regarding the legitimacy of an LSU offer. And neither is Adam Taylor, because he was not listed as having an LSU offer by the people confirming Ramirez' offer.

They also screw up a LOT. Project asked me to name services that showed Adam Taylor with an offer and ESPN and Scouts.com still has his profile with an LSU offer. Sooooo, this is NOT a case where they "didn't update", this is a case they had an offer from LSU for Adam Taylor who NEVER EVER had an LSU offer apparently.

Agree with this and what it probably shows as you and others have said, Rhaheed is out also. You take away Johnson and Rhaheed and there is room for what everybody who is an LSU HAS to concede is a sleeper. Hell, Louisiana Tech hasn't even offered the kid and they recruit Shreveport like it is Ruston.

Project, Sims is an example of services posting offers that are NOT real...simple as that. I have already given you Scouts.com and ESPN supporting my statement about Taylor LSU offers. When you said services are confirming it, which ones. I like James Smith but he is NOT a service.
