I'm not sure how anyone could think that this song wasn't a cover. The lyrics are clearly not 90s lyrics.

It's the same riff for the whole song. Pearl Jam likes a few more changes in their originals

It was on some K-Tel compilation one of my sisters had. I've heard that version 473 times. Snoopy and the Red Baron was on it too, I believe.

I remember when the cover came out, and being absolutely flabbergasted that anyone would want to remake that song.
