I'm taking my nephew to LSU kicking camp this weekend. He kicks for Parkway. Maybe if I tell them we can get Brandon to commit they will give my nephew a scholy! He is really pretty good. He went to aTm camp and came in top 5 in punting, top 10 in field goals and kicking.

There must be a kicker in every class. We don't wanna be stuck with a Harvard transfer in case the starter gets hurt duh!!!!

Not in this class. Not a chance. Those last spots are willy wonka golden ticket like coveted spots. I think we continue to look towards walk ons who could earn a a hollow down the road. The kicking game is important, but this class is too special.

You just don't cover up your tracks good enough!! The news hit...go back to this old thread and EDIT the hell out of your post!!! Fortunately, I didn't post in this one before since I agree about not necessarily wanting to give up a scholarship THIS class to a PK. You and I do disagree on scholarships in general...I say they decide too many games to go with walkons. Find a guy who is good and bring lock him up with a scholarship offer. Most kickers only get a couple of offers so if a school like LSU offers and he accepts, I don't think we sweat the fax on NSD.

Yes, I went to the spring game & like another poster said, it's too bad we can't get Gamble enrolled in correspondence courses & get him into LSU in time for this fall.

A solid place kicker is often a crucial part of a national/conference championship team.
