Reid wasn't good last year.

Yeah we're really gonna miss all the bad angles he took

Completely agree. Mingo and Montgomery were also very average. Im sorry but I just believe that our defense is going to be BETTER.

Get by a pesky TCU and have that defense clicking on all cylinders by UGA. Do that, and it will be a great year.

Exactly.

Reid was banged up all year and played far below his sophomore year level.

In fact, the entire D, aside from Minter, played below their expected potential last year. These guys are hungry and ready to make a name for themselves.

this team is full of players who want to make a name for themselves as opposed to last year which was full of players who made their name known in 2011.

Was a junior this last season. But your point is correct. He was a stud his sophomore year.

If we can mount an offense that can move the ball consistently and sustain drives, the defense will be awesome. You can't expect the defense to be on the field as much as they were last year without giving up some yards. Too many times three and out and back on defense. Get the offense going and the defense will take care of business.

The guys we were rotating left also. Very few DLinemen playing this year have any significant amount of playing time, in fact the guys we are counting on this year have as much experience as our second rotation guys would normally have.

It's actually pretty funny. All these schools like A&M and Ole miss think they finally will have us because of the magazines and radio saying we lost to much. We can all just laugh once we put them on their arse this year.

We're fine on the DL minus one DE spot. We need someone to step up there. Here's the list. I think we'll be ok. 59 Jermauria Rasco DE 98 Jordan Allen DE 54 Justin Maclin DE 22 Ronnie Feist DE 94 Danielle Hunter DE 93 M.J. Patterson DE 92 Lewis Neal DE 97 Frank Herron DE 46 Tashawn Bower DL

That is one heck of a beautiful list there brother. The LSU staff will have a blast developing that group. I wonder which one of them will come out of Moffitt's system looking like Drake Nevis. Remember that monster? He was strapping muscle on top of power!
