Watched the reunion show (mostly in FFWD).

Meh.

Knight and Frank's thing was weird. And CT is an awful douche to Mosely. And don't get me wrong, I can't stand Johnny Mosely, but CT signed up for this bullshite..so don't get mad when people want to talk about your personal shite.

And I agree, Max...Johnny always coasts into finals. I'd say he's marginally athletic though, at least to the point of not being completely uncoordinated. He wins a good bit of challenges (like the weekly ones I mean).

johnny research project sponsored by da driveman:

1. johnny lost his only duel to tyler in his first challenge

2. didn't go into any duel thingies on his 2nd challenge

3. lost his only gauntlet to evan in his 3rd challenge

4.beat horrendous tyrie in a face-off on the island

5. beat more horrendous dunbar on the next challenge

6. got backpacked by CT and thus lost to Tyler in the Gulag

7. on rivals he and tyler beat CT and that little twat who's dad sang brickhouse in a jungle, but in actuality CT basically destroyed both of them and brickhouse jr. just brought the ball to the wrong end 2-3 times and lost the game for his team.

8.He and Camilla beat Mark (47 years old) and Robin (47 packs of cigs and twinkies per day) in a dome.

9. No jungles

so, looks like 4-3 in duels in his history, with 2 weak team wins and 2 wins over Dunbar and Tyrie.

Johnny is the most overrated "star" on these Challenges.

People like Alton, Mark Long, CT, Wes, the Miz, Derrick, Abram, and Kenny run circles around him, and even the secondary guys like Frank are better than him. Frank was definitely the better player on the team this year.

I know someone's going to post the money list, but I don't give a shite. He is lucky that he became friends with Kenny and Evan, while Wes took time off from the challenges and CT was put in time-out. At the same time, Alton probably read hundreds of bullshite books on spirituality, Miz became a wrestler, and Long just aged. So he was essentially going up against no one legit but Derrick, while he and his two buddies intimidated 110 pound girls into voting their way.

The only impressive thing he did was one the Battle of the Exes. Rivals 1 was bullshite. Winning by half an hour on day 1 leads to a 2 minute head start on day two This one was even worse, but at least CT and Wes easily beat them in everything.

Btw, Wes did a Grantland podcast today. Starts around the 20 minute mark LINK

It isn't as scandalous as Frank's podcast, which I posted a few months ago. As you may have noticed, that podcast is no longer online. In fact, it's one of the only things Grantland has ever removed from their site. Bunim Murray must have really hated the stuff he said and pressured them to remove it.

Wes keeps it PG mostly. Explains his business, says no one did drugs this season, except for a couple of people with adderral prescriptions. Denies steroid use and sounds pretty earnest while talking about it. ALso says he thinks everyone was clean this year, which I would believe. Goes into his rivalry with Kenny a little and talks about his Johanna break-up which I think happened before the Island. Makes fun of Johnny and Kenny's tshirt and bobblehead businesses, and explains he got his monster truck as a 17 year old

I obviously don't like Johnny and the guy is a loser in so many ways, but I have to hand it to him. I just learned that his girlfriend is a two time Olympic medalist snowboarder who looks like this. If we are to believe Kelly Anne that he has a tiny dick and has to finger chicks with a banana to get them off, I'm even more confused how the hell he pulled this off.

ETA: The host asks him about Kenny and Evan and if they are banned. He says he can't talk about it, but doesn't deny that they are banned for life. Of course, the main guy on Vevmo has been saying that for a couple of years now. I love how the main source on Vevmo is a 60-year old retired colonel who was a press director in the fricking Clinton administration.

And two more things from Wes. He says he has done two marathons before and they were not as difficult as the final challenges on Rivals 1 or Rivals 2. Also, they had to lift 30 bags but for some reason, on tv, it said 20 bags.

Yeah it is funny that that's who the inside source over there. His shite is spot on though. It's obvious that Kenny and Evan did something to Tonya on the Ruins and part of the settlement was banning them from future challenges.

I wish Kenny would come back, but Evan is basically a bigger/fatter version of Johnny.

I doubt that was part of the settlement. More likely it's MTV getting rid of them because they cost them money.

That's what I meant. Because they had to settle with Tonya.

BTW I was listening to another podcast today with Wes. He said that not only did they have to move those body bags but they also had to move them back to the starting point. Plus he said while running around the island there were booby traps sometimes like a net falling on them or some obstruction coming up.

evan was a big juiceball on his first 1 or 2 challenges then became just a fat lard. It was hilarious when his own buddies convinced him to try and take out CT on his last challenge in a "you're the only other big guy here so you will kill him" theme so he loses with Nehemiah and then gets killed by CT in the duel.

It should be at the top of the podcast page for 9/27. You can skip the first 20 minutes since it's just the two hosts talking about random stuff like Lamar Odom. I was doing a bike ride so I didn't fast forward, but nothing was particularly interesting pre-Wes.

Unlike Favre, I can't do half a Tour de France stage every day though.

Just listened to the Grantland podcast. Love how Wes threw Kenny under the bus saying he wasn't anything on the Challenges until he starting fighting with him.
