I just wanted to say that

It will definitely help the good news. I'm probably going to head over to the camp, a friend of mine might be coming to visit the camp.

I'm interested to see how they play the Michael Johnson angle now that valentine committed to daU. They won't stop recruiting valentine for sure

Valentine seems to be a bit flimsy, no?

And what would help the good news?

I dont think its BS in every situation..maybe 90% but not all..it could be multiple reasons these kids dont publically commit until the right time..you know like the girl you date for a while before you bring her home to momz??

The only reason I say they are bs is its meant to be more literal then actual. I just wait til they announce, I remember a recruit telling the recruiting coordinator he was about to commit to LSU on live TV only to make us look like an arse. Lots and lots of rumored silents, even iron clad ones never make it for whatever of many reasons.

Some of them do commit...that is true. I would just rather take all the fun out of it and just ignore them and the booms that may or may not happen and let the men commit to whoever they want when they want.

I hope we rake in July. I hope more that we actually play much better then people think we will this year, so we can keep the momentum going and keep the ones we have.

This is a class that championships are made of, especially with last years class (underrated).

I think having MJ actually commited to LSU and in his ear will help our cause.

The camp will help bring good news, or will help amplify the good news already coming?

If that makes sense

I make a lot of shakes and green bananas suck. Ultimately, I would like to have 50/50. I can go,through a bunch of bananas in 2 days.

makes sense. I think it will help amplify good news. Getting our QB and instate recruiter besides Will Clapp and Jacory Washington is huge. Some 2015 offers will be handed out imo

Trey Quinn, Clifton Garrett, Brandon Harris, Saeed Blacknall, and Garrald McDowell sound like enough to get the ball rolling?

It'll make that old saying "Christmas in July" relevant.

Having a silently commited, stud in-state QB going around in all our top guys ears at the camp would be huge.

Jacory and Will Clapp are tremendous help for us instate.

We all know Ed Paris and Chris Hardeman do a great job as well. Hopefully they come in to help. Maybe even Garrett comes in who knows. He bonded well with the in state guys at camp.

You will also have guys around cam rob too. The class will become a lot more clear after camp imo

Agreed.

I just see Brandon Harris as the guy who really takes over in that Russel Shepard type commit-recruiter role. Having your QB being your biggest recruiter is a huge plus. I think he will help a ton with Cam too

Garrett at the opening in an interview was talking about who he was going to visit, etc. He didn't sound like a guy on the verge of committing to me but did speak about "Chief" and "Coach Miles" fondly. IMO, he signs with LSU but it doesn't seem like an early verbal to me...unfortunately. Both he and Blacknall IMO acted like they might commit about a month ago, but now they talk about taking visits. I would still rather have a guy take visits FIRST and commit SECOND.
