i will say that it was my bad to make a whole new thread for this, and i didn't really make it clear on my thoughts of asik and comparison to withey. i like this forum because its the only place to bullshite about the team that i like with fellow fans, and i don't to be the idiot no one listens too. anyway, my bad, and i hope this won't make it worse.

thanks, i feel better now lol. i'm only 16 guys, i'm an avid hometown fan who loves sports and appreciates the game, even though the NBA is corrupt. and yes my post amount is low, but i'm sure a lot of you have been in my position before. so, i will work to get better and maybe think before i post a whole new topic on something that was already discussed (yes, i know, it was stupid.)

i agree with it with clear up the paint for people who like to drive, Tyreke/Gordon, and i called the most important player to the offense after we got tyreke.

You're good man. I'm sure people will be able to appreciate a young fan's enthusiasm.

People are really overrating a 6'10" one dimensional catch and shoot guy. And I love Anderson. People saying he "can create his own shot" clearly have no idea what that actually means

Danman I'm glad you said that. As a matter of fact Ryan Anderson is the exact opposite definition of creating your own shot. I love Anderson but he isn't a savior. He is expendable.

Then recognize that you haven't watched nearly as much basketball as most of the other posters on the board and have some humility in expressing your opinions.

asik has no post game, and cant make FT's. we have withey with the same problems

Agree on the post game but Withey averaged better than 70% at the FT line for his college career. I don't see that as a "problem".

You're right, however, i understand how things work in the league, and i'm up to date with my team.

Yep, i was just saying Withey is a seviceable trade off from Asik, not that hes better, not that hes worse, that hes just good enough, for now. I think Asik is good, but the offensive loss from giving them Ryan, may cause more problems then it solves.

If withey was as good as asik he would've been a top 5 pick.

Not saying Withey will develop like Asik, but Old Omer was selected in the second round...just like Withey (Asik @36 and Withey @ 39).

I'm with you on that. And contrary to what others are saying, good 3 point shooters from the 4 are rarer than a crack whore in church.

If we trade Anderson I think it will be the dumbest movie Dell will ever make... Anderson will be good and we need him to be our shorter at the 4 and 5 position.

Asik will do a good job at center and might be a good move being we have 2 great 4's ( AD & Anderson ), however if we get rid of Anderson we will regret it forever

You could be right. They need shooters to allow Holiday, Gordon, Evans, and Davis to get into the paint.

Anderson does things that guys like Peja and Ray Allen did in terms of volume and accuracy. They wont find a guy as good.

But they can find other floor spacers. And the West has got legit beef at the 5. That is why I would pull the trigger on this deal
