A break from 4th festivities: I don't, personally, see how the #Pelicans fully improved themselves with trading Vasquez, Lopez.
I get their current trade value, but Vasquez would have provided a huge mismatch off the bench.
OK, I get that Evans "should" be an upgrade and the cap room is good. But now you've got two SG who cost lots of money.
That's a ton of money coming off the bench. Anderson plays starter min. Either Evans or Gordon likely won't.

Other than a substantial increase in athleticism, scoring and perimeter defense, I agree.

People are getting way too caught up in positions. Our 5 best guys are making the most money, and they'll be the guys playing crunch time minutes. Anderson, Davis, Holiday, Evans and Gordon will all average over 30 minutes a game
