That is also my fear of getting Bale.

If Ronaldo stays (and there hasn't really been anything to suggest otherwise), I definitely think that Bale will concede to him. Also, not only is he young, but he started off as a left back.

Hey man, you never know, Jupp somehow convinced Ribery and Robben to play dedicated defense.
Yeah, Ancelotti did have Pastore, Lucas Moura and Lavezzi working their asses back on defense (making hilariously uncoordinated tackles but nonetheless helping the team out) last year so maybe he can get through to Oezil and CR.
Ribery and Robben (and Mandzukic) working so hard on defense is the clear reason Bayern was so good.
They were twice the presences for their team that Oezil was and I guess that working his arse off on defense is also why Mourinho liked Di Maria as much as he did.

Oezil tried to track back at times, see: Busquets destroying the shite out of him on the ball.
Ronaldo is a bit more headstrong, though, and Mourinho talked about that after leaving. It took all of United's power to convince him that he could actually head the ball.

Yeah. He ended up being too good going forward for people to relegate him to left-back. Then, he ended up being too good of a goal scorer for people to relegate him to the left wing (he is very left footed)

BTW I read an article yesterday, forgot where now, wherein they say that Ancelotti is kind of partial to Jovetic, and may push to bring him from Fiorentina (that is where he plays, isn´t it?, maybe it´s Nápoli).

He can play all over the place. Spurs fans will have a better answer, but I feel like he was pushed centrally by AVB
I also feel that he's very rarely pushed completely wide right

He does slide a little right at times in order to create a shot with his left foot. It seemed like he was given free range to do what he wanted. He was generally spectacular.

Yeah, he ended out there to great effect. Don't know how often he actually started there, though

Jovetic rumor is picking up steam.

Any recent Suarez rumors? I feel like they have died down for the most part.
He may end up in White next season, but as of now it seems (to me at least) that RM have multiple other strikers ahead of him on their wishlist: Cavani, Jovetic, Lewandowski? (plus Bale).

Interesting. RM will obviously be in the market for a couple of forwards with the imminent departure of Higuain and possible transfer of Benzema, Di Maria, etc.
Part of me wants Madrid to buy Suarez, but the LFC side of me wants to keep him in Red.

yeah this is only like the 2nd year of him playing LW. they inserted him at LW b/c he wasn't that great at LB and basically became super dominant in a couple weeks. he also ended maicon's career in this period
like 4 FIFA's ago, bale was the shite to buy for a young LB

Real Sociedad, get ready to negotiate.
Marca reports Ancelotti and Zidane have decided upon the first acquisition of the Carlo Ancelotti era.
Asier Illarramendi.
This may also be a ploy to get Borussia D to negotiate NOW (and not next year) for Gündogan.
