While there may be some conspiracy theories in here, my only point has been that the release of the 1 year old video of the Harrison incident was no coincidence.

Stewart very well may be deserving of his current punishment or worse, but the fact that it apparently has led to the airing of dirty laundry is both entertaining and unfortunate.

Come on OT DETECTIVES.

Someone knows why he was suspended or can find out. The media reports and Police spokesperson say it is unrelated to the video. Hmmmm...

Just submitted an official records request to the City Parish.

entertaining and unfortunate.

Why is it unfortunate? Don't you think the community deserves to know that Corporal Harrison of the BRPD drives his vehicle like a maniac, doesn't pull over when being stopped by police, doesn't respect fellow police officers or the law in general, admits that he doesn't give a shite that other people including children are driving on the same road, and admits that he shouldn't be a police officer? I'm glad this video surfaced. It's not unfortunate at all. This guy needs to be fired.

Im glad the video made its way to Youtube. Now when you search his name that vid comes up on the front page. Hopefully it follows his lame arse around for the rest of his police career, derailing any investigation he's a part of.

To all the LEO's out there who wonder why the public distrusts your kind and why you cant seem to garner any respect, go up to this guy next time you see him and shake his hand and thank him. He is the reason why.

While you are correct and I agree with you to some extent it's really not the case for the majority.

Through my experience I've learned that there are PLENTY more people who respect and trust LEO, than distrust (except for on the OT it seems). The people who don't trust LEO are usually the ones who are doing something wrong, and I'm not talking about inspection stickers.

Since we are on the inspection sticker topic though, I will just say this. The LEO who are likely working something petty like inspections stickers are doing so on their days off and making OT. It's hard to fault somebody for wanting to make more money, and if inspections sticker tickets is what the higher ups order for OT then so be it. I know I, for one, have never written an inspection sticker ticket and up until recently I never wrote a seat belt ticket. However, we were offered multiple hours of OT to come out and write seat belt tickets recently, so guess what I did. Your gripes should be with the higher ups who think it's necessary to spend money doing this, not really with the people out working for more cash in their pockets.

On a normal day, mostly in vehicle crashes, if I see somebody with an inspired anything I will write them for whatever violation caused the crash and then say, "Hey you need to get that inspection sticker up to date." It's bad enough that somebody has gotten in a wreck, I'm not trying to rub it in even more. However, that can all change if the person is a complete ass. Then I will find any and everything I can to write for.

I meant that it is unfortunate that it happened in the first place, it's unfortunate that Harrison drives like a complete fricktard, and it's unfortunate that the guy who seemed to be trying to do the right thing may have his own skeletons.

As a whole...it's unfortunate that be BRPD is a clusterfrick.

Calm down Wolf. Stewart was suspended prior to the media running that story about his our of jurisdiction traffic stop.

Stewart will probably be indicted by a Grand Jury very soon.
