re: Zimmerman (Trayvons!) trial discussion thread. NOT GUILTY! Surprised?

quote:

I see bushes on both sides of the area.

Are you kidding? The only bushes are 2 feet high 15-20 feet away. Plus GZ himself said Tray walked up to him from 15 feet in yet another statement. GZ then reached for his phone to call 911. How could he do that if Tray jumped him from the bushes?

GZ's nose was bleeding and Tray was pinching it? And all that blood that had to have gone under his nails washing away in the great flood?

And yes the tape shows he was running bc as soon as LE tells him to stop following him, no more wind noise and no more heavy breathing.

It's reasonable for Tray to believe GZ was coming after him by the way he watched him, followed him and yes for a time was running. For all Tray knew GZ was some perv wanting to make him his whatever. And if he did reach for his phone to call 911 tray may have thought he was reaching for a gun.

Some of you get way to personal and upset and can't discuss this without resorting to silly personal attacks. This isn't football. It's not politics. It's a trial. I'm not invested in this and I can't see why some of you are.

GZ followed him behind the buildings past the T. He's changed his story so many times to try to beef up his claim of self defense. His inconsistencies are not minor. Every part of his story has holes in it. You can stick your fingers in your ears and say nah nah nah but it doesn't change the fact that the best person to refutes GZ has been GZ.

I hope you aren't a lawyer, and are just a troll or really have no clue about the legal system or interviewing someone after a tragic event. I will assume you haven't kept up with the trial.

BTW if you are an attorney I pray for your clients and hope to god you don't practice criminal matters.

Thanks for proving my point. You don't refute any thing I say but instead personally attack me. And everything I've said has been said by the prosecution yet you know more about the law than me or them.

I have has many jury trials and I've lost one. My first. The key to winning trials is to know your jury and not enter into them with blinders on. You've got to see things as your jury will. If I don't believe I'll win, I settle. Period. I don't let my bias cloud my views.

Here I would never go for murder if I were the prosecution. IMO they lose credibly by over shooting. This is manslaughter. Will they convict? Right now it's 50 50. That's clearly to GZs advantage since they haven't even really started their case. I imagine they'll put on witnesses that's will better explain why Tray has no marks on his right hand etc.

If GZ takes the stand he'll be torn up with his inconsistencies. But that's the only way I see the turning for the prosecution and that won't happen.

My guess is he walks bc although his story is full of holes, the BOP is not his.

And no I'm not invested. I don't give a damn either way. But you and others here are as biased, emotional and nonsensical as the Justice For Trayon kooks y'all quote from twitter.

Btw excuse the typos. Fat fingers on an iPhone

I have not followed this case as closely as some on here but both sides have holes in there story. Just as you say most are bias toward GZ on here you are the same for Trevon. In cases like this there has to be sufficient evidence to convict if there is enough to sway the jury then he will be guilty if not enough he walks. I swear to you though he walks people with your thinking not saying you personally will riot just because he is another victim bull shite.

It isn't really worth refuting Mr. Lawyer because you are arguing details not relevant to the case. You are blatantly leaving important supporting evidence out, and not addressing other pertinent facts. You are most certainly no MOM.

You couldn't prove that by your posts. Poor written communication skills for a lawyer. You come across as being firmly in the TM corner.

How old are you?

re: Zimmerman (Trayvons!) trial discussion thread. NOT GUILTY! Surprised?

My thinking? How many different ways do I have to tell you I don't think this is murder? And I don't think the prosecution has done a good job even on manslaughter... Hence me saying its 50 50 at this point. And that's never good for the prosecution when the defense hasn't really started their case.

People here have taken this case personally because of Sharpton and the marches demanding a murder charge and dont want "them"' to win. It's like a damn football game to them.

If I was on the prosecution's "side" I'd be arguing as blindly as those twitter Justice For Trayvon people or like some here for GZ. Im telling you as I see it. And I sure as hell wouldn't be predicting an acquittal as I am if I wanted or thought he would be found guilty.

It is continually pointed out that GZ's story has holes in it and/or his story changes. My question is how much bearing on this case should his story have since he has never actually testified? He was never under oath on the stand.

2nd question is does his story(ies) really matter concerning the charges??

Every inconsistency IS relevant. It goes to credibility. In fact thats a jury charge the court will instruct the jury on. And btw, if MOM is the Perry Mason some of you think he is, there is no way he let's his client go on Hannity and no way he let's his cocounsel tell that idiotic knock knock joke.

Honestly if the best way you can refute an argument is the the use of emoticons and ad hominem attacks, it speaks volumes.

I'm not the one whose job skills are in question. I don't claim to be unbiased or have won all but one of my trials. BTW how many have you tried? 2?

Hey Einstein what do you do when you get a bloody nose? Tilt your head back...he was lying on the ground so the blood may not have been flowing while TM was assaulting him.

We all know cases like these are media driven race war machines. They have high profile lawyers who feed on this shite included. Was Trevon sterotyped? yes he was but the rest of the story is left to the courts. You sound like an intelligent person but the sad part here is that if GZ walks businesses and lives will be altered if GZ is found guilty justice will be served From your stance and the many that think like you am I right??

if I were invested like you guys are, I'd be be arguing guilt. I'd be attacking the messengers, not the messages. I'd be asking how old you are.

If you want a message board where everyone agrees with you and no one challenges your way of thinking, there are plenty of them out there. The fact that you get so upset when anyone points out the glaring inconsistencies of GZ's stories, points out that someone beating the crap out of someone will at least have a mark on his right hand, the fact that having your head get bashed into a sidewalk will cause more damage than two tiny lacerations, the fact that if Tray was pinching GZ's nose and cupping his mouth, as GZ said, he could not have repeatedly yelled for help and Tray would certainly have blood on his hands an/or under his fingernails, and rather than refute this, attack me... Well again, that speaks volumes.

I can see all of these problems with GZ's case but I can also see that they only need to show reasonable doubt. That IMO they'll be able to do.
