Of all the LWs still out there... I'd probably go after Iker Muniain

I love Muniain, and he is probably more skilled, but the stature of this Yarmolenko kid would help a lot in a team which physicality is lacking.

I have decided we will sign no one else between now and the following summer.

I like him, but Ive only seen him play on the RW (inverted - left footed)... although I'm sure he can play on the left too

I still think we get Papa at the end of this window. And we'll probably be active once more in January.

I still think we will get an attacking player before the window shuts... Looking more likely that it wont be a "Marquee" name...

I just ready for the window to shut so everyone around us can stop strengthening while we remain the same or lose depth.

yeah, I really like how Tot, num went into it...

They bought and then sold Bale (its gonna happen)... Meanwhile, like Andy last year, I will be kinda pissed selling Stewie if we dont bring someone else in...

I think FSG are the only ones that believe FFP will actually work. I mean, I agree in not overpaying for players, thats how we ended up blowing a ton of cash a couple summers ago...

Papa injured his knee on the first day back in training with a ball. No thanks.

Thats scary... I wouldnt touch him until he's proven on the pitch.

I'd LOVE for us to go after Kurt Zouma... would be perfect to learn under KOLO for a couple of years and then step in

Kid (18) is going to be a beast

edit: I have no idea why i typed Kolo in all caps

gazidis and aw have been pretty vocal about FFP. we've seemingly banked on it. if it actually gets implemented, we're a clear no. 2 going forward with ManU in terms of spending power.

I know it does nothing to complain about stuff you can't control but damn we got the short end of the Christmas games 26th and 28th. Away to Citeh and Chelski. Wholly crap. With Tots away on the 14th!

I'm trying not to complain because we caught a break with the first 10 games but damn. That is a brutal December run where the rest top table teams have it much easier

Damn. Glad we didn't make that happen already then.

So what's Martin Kelly's status?

I read yesterday that Martin was ready to play as many games as he can with the reserves to get back to full fitness.. I believe he played at CB against the Manc Scum earlier this week..

That's good to hear! I was really starting to warm up to him last season before his injury.

In other news supposedly Chelsea are now in for Willian? If so, L O L

"Brendan Rodgers will target a new centre-half in his efforts to strengthen the Liverpool squad in the remaining days of the transfer window after confirming that Sebsatian Coates is likely to miss most of the 2013-14 season."
