i think he becomes a central figure of our squad THIS year… he's young, but has a lot of experience in that short time… dude is a player, and in Rodger's system, he'll succeed in a major way...

Fernando Torres definitely agrees with this statement.

Have y'all heard any news who these signing could actually be, I'm exhausted from anticipation & waiting.

Chances are we won't know for a while either.

yeah, Its so hard to figure out who are legit targets and who aren't. I gotta imagine the club throws out smoke screens, etc.

Also, I'm not sure how much business will be done with us on this tour... maybe behind the scenes leg work.. but the signing may take place when they get back.

Yea I agree. Suarez is due back in two or three days I believe. We will see what happens.

I think it's safe to assume the club is shopping for a defender and attacking player. Maybe a defensive midfielder or box-to-box midfielder, but we haven't been linked with either since we lost out on Henrikh.

All I can say for myself is that the more this drags out the more of an uneasy feeling I get about this transfer window.

Take that fwiw.

yeah, I'm beginning to think its Real Madrid or bust for Suarez and they want to play a bit of poker...

That's why I don't like the silence, I'm afraid of another Torres type deal.

I hope FSG learned their lesson. If he isn't sold by the last week of the window, and LFC haven't bought a replacement, he better stay.

Me personally? I think he stays. I think he shows up when he's supposed to and has a smile on his face. I think he trains with the boys and everything works out just fine.

And then I think he's shipped out in January.

Depends on the season. If we start the season hot and are looking like a legit contender for top 4 I think we can convince him to want to stay and I think we'll keep him. If we are clearly looking at a 8-5th place finish then yeah he's probably gone in January.

Real Madrid. Higuain will eventually move and Madrid will need to replace him. Madrid may move for Ibrahimovich or Jovetic, though he seems likely to join City.

I've read that Ibra wants to be reunited with Ancelotti so that might work but he's over 30 and not a long term signing. I guess it's possible that Real could pony up 45-50m for Suarez, I just don't see him fitting in at that club. I know they've had their crazies over the years but they also take a lot of pride in their reputation as a club of being better than that. When Mou tried to pull all of his bullshite, it was only a matter of time before the door slammed behind him. There's no way they would put up with Suarez' shite. There are only a handful of clubs in the world that can afford him and it's a sign of his reputation preceding him that only one club is being somewhat seriously linked to his transfer.

Why not? They have fricking Pepe and Ramos who do something stupid every week. What Suarez has done doesn't hold a candle to the Pepe's assault.

What's the saying?

Good players can play anywhere, with anyone (?)
