They can't get anywhere close to equal value for either due to their contracts. There may be some suckers out there, but I see zero chance Wade is going anywhere and not much more of a chance for Bosh.

Bosh's value is > iguodalas. and Iguodala wouldn't fit very well as a center...

I like bosh, I think he is very important to the heat's team. Although he may not have good games he still helps pull the big men out on the perimeter to help unclog the lane for dwade and lebron.

I think the heat's best move would be to trade D Wade + Mike Miller to Knicks for Tyson Chandler and JR Smith and keep Bosh.

The Heat will never get rid of D Wade though b\c he helped bring their franchise back and he will retire with the Heat and they want that to happen.. Next Year they WILL have to dump Chris Bosh with all the new CBA shite kickin in so I assume they will try and pickup an above average center and maybe another defender\3 point shooter type guy

disagree. they won 66 games and. beat an all time team in the finals. not sure how they need to get tougher after beating chicago, Indiana, and San Antonio to win the title.

wade was hurt in the playoffs, but dont forget he had a GREAT year. hes running out of fuel, but hes got some good years left.

bosh was great banging with duncan. Idgaf about his points. he made duncan earn it and was tremendous in his help defense.

they wont get anything close to equal value for those guys. and adding more bigs takes away the thing that makes them special- bron with the ball surrounded by shooters.

IF Wade's knee is good to go, the Heat are still the best team in the league... big IF tho.

I would have to see some hypothetical scenarios as to what the Heat would look like post-break up to really say if I would agree with it or not tho.

I suppose it depends on what you're expecting out of him. The Heat obviously had a game plan that was for Wade/LeBron to drain jumpers all night, and, if that didn't work then they'll change to plan B, but we never had to find out what that was. Bosh set great screens last night to free LeBron for that open 15-18 footer. He made some nice passes from the high post. I mean we can call him invisible offensively, but that was the team's game plan for whatever reason. So it's hard for me to blame him, especially when he played with tons of effort rebounding and defensively.

Honestly, it makes Bosh even more important a player for the Heat to keep around. Not many other all-stars would be okay with only taking 5 shots in a game, while two other players dominate the ball.

they need another true center, bosh is a PF but they need someone coupled with the birdman to come off the bench to guard the likes of hibbert, duncan, etc

hardly, birdman did much better against duncan.

bosh was a liability most of the series.

I would argue the base is flawed. Bosh is too finesse and was a major negative at times this offseason. Wade looks about 36.

Next year's money owed and ages for next season:

Rashard Lewis- Player Option- 1.39 mill - 34yrs old (when season starts
Ray Allen- Player Option- 3.22 mill- 38 yrs old
Shane Battier - 3.27 mill- 35 yrs old
James Jones- Player Option- 1.5 mill- 33 yrs old
Udonis Haslem- 2 yrs left- 4 mill- 33 yrs old
Mike Miller- 2 yrs left- 6+mill- 33 yrs old

Wade has 4 years left and will be in a wheelchair by the end of that deal.

Birdman played good against Duncan for game 7. In all other games he played TERRIBLE against him. Everytime they matched up it either led to a easy bucket for duncan or a foul on teh Birdman

You want a 2nd big to come off the bench after Andersen? Who then?

This is why I hate this type of discussion. There is no one that they can afford, that will be okay playing 15m, and that will be good enough to be worthwhile to play.

There are no more big man minutes as it is between Bosh, Haslem, and Andersen. They aren't going to get rid of Haslem for the same reason they won't get rid of Wade. They already have Joel who can't sniff the court who is better than most guys they'd be able to sign or probably trade for.

The only way you could sign up a 2nd off the bench big is if he was a big who could also stretch the floor, and who is that guy?

I wasn't trying to dog Bosh. My initial comment in the thread was to the OP who made it sound like Wade and Bosh were terrible last night. Obviously it's easier to me to quantify Wade's value over Bosh's just looking at the stat sheet. But I still think he had greater impact on the game than Bosh, and a lot of that is due to him being in foul trouble most of the game.

This is completely inaccurate. Birdman got benched in Game 4-5 because he couldn't guard Duncan. Bosh did a much better job on Duncan. Duncan made some great shots in spite of that defense, but Bosh played good defense in the post. And then in the 2nd half once he started fronting Duncan, virtually shut him down.

Possibly. Wade had a good offensive game and was decent enough defensively. But Bosh's defense is what makes the Heat defense work. His quickness and length make it extremely difficult for pnr ball handlers, which is basically all of the Spurs offense. That's all I was trying to point out. Both Wade and Bosh brought it last night, regardless of how some are trying to spin it today.

but his defensive leaves a lot to be desired

Bosh got abused the last 2 games on defense, he is always late rotating and his feet look like they are glued down to the floor, I've never seen someone who seems like he NEVER jumps for a block or rebound, if it doesnt come right to him while he is flat footed, he wont get it.
