Yeah we're not saying your full of it. Only that If your that good you have hit more then 10 rounds worth of golf balls.

How often did you go to the range before you started playing.

If you have only played 10 rounds and shot under 100 each on tough courses. Then you are widely successful and consistent considering you have only played less then 1000 pressure golf shots. You the one that said you compete with your brother, so that means your playing pressure shots so to speak.

I don't know. A lot more than I've actually played, I know that much.

And I'm not good. I hit the ball far, and usually pretty straight. My putting is bad. Chipping is usually pretty good I think for how little I play, but some chip shots get away from me. I'm not great out of the sand, either.

My bad scores usually come from more putts than I should be taking, and bad chip shots around the green or in the sand.

Getting the ball around the green in few shots I can do. What happens from that point could be good or really bad. I'm inconsistent around the greens.

Oh, and I never said I shoot under 100 on all courses or every time I play.

I'm saying I have shot in the 90's several times. I'm usually right around 100.

So i shot a 72 on a par 3 course yesterday. I'm getting decent with the PW

I'm having some pain in my hand where my thumb meets the wrist

Nice seeing continuous improvement. My goal is +18 for the next time I go. If I just quit mishitting a few balls I can get there

Well you've just got the game figured out. So work on chipping and putting and you'll be scratch in no time

May be related to grip pressure being too tight and swing angle being too steep. Could be a bunch of other things as well though.

it good be from impact of the club into the ground

you might be digging in to much and its a foreign feel and pressure.

Three things to work on first.

Alignment
Grip
Take Away (Swing Plan)

Looking to buy my first set of irons; people said the Ping G-15s for GI's but a great set to have for years

Agree?

Slight bend at knees, keep your head still

Possibly move the ball back in your stance a little

I do this a lot too and it's because I come in steep so I top and fat a lot of shots. Try to work on keeping the club away from my body on the takeaway to make the swing more shallow.

Any tips on alignment, that's something I haven't had much advice on that is a big problem with my mid irons and out.
