I would also like to point out Jose wanting to play youth players vs Pool this weekend is worse than the shite AW gets criticized for. Hope they get their asses beat next week.

Arsenal fans sure as hell have. I can't think of a specific time Arsene has come out and said it though, no.

We rest players and sprinkle in youth guys in the league cup (sometimes more heavily than others) and Arsene gets ripped for not pursuing a trophy. Jose comes out and says he wants to play only youth players in the dang league, handing pool a title he still technically has a shot at. That's worse than anything Wenger has ever done by rotating players.
And he will use it as an excuse probably, which AW has never done.

Most arsenal fans I know don't care enough about the league cup to make an excuse for not winning it.

Yeah, Mourinho had to decide which excuse he wanted to go with.
A. Try to win the league and crash out of the CL "Our players were tired after such a big match -- our first priority is the league."
B. Forget the league and try to win the CL "We just weren't healthy enough and our schedule is tough. Liverpool doesn't have to worry about the Champions League and the PL"

I cared in 2011 because we were in the final and we lost it in hilarious fashion. And then we went on our annual meltdown.

I think the point is that Mourinho won't get criticized for it, while Wenger is criticized for putting out young players in the CL when the group was already won.

And whoever was raging about Wenger playing youth in a group that was wrapped up is half retarded.
Also, Jose probably won't get crticized for it because he came out and said it before hand. Makes him look like he's being transparent in his intentions. I think if he fields a shite side at liverpool without saying anything, he definitely catches flak.

He should be criticized. The league was in his hands, and then they lost to Sunderland at home. If this was anyone else Abramovich would have sacked him. Gifting Pool the league would be really annoying. I completely understand why he would do it. But I'd rather he didn't, for the sake of entertainment.
