As a jozy lover, it's hard to be more excited about a guys form over the past couple of games.

This. Everyone was just waiting for him to take that step, and he's finally getting it done internationally as well. He's come a long way :frickmexico:

It was getting a little tiring defending him honestly, thank god he's saved us.

Young Josmer will be UCL quality in no time, young player who's really coming into his own.

I've been most impressed with his strength when he has a defender on his back and is facing away from the goal.

he grew substantially this year in holland. technically and physically. He's huge now, very few games where he doesn't look like the strongest guy on the field.

He's a damn bull, his holdup play is critical to our success. He has the ability to box a defender out and hold the ball while guys make runs and he can lay it off to them and then make a run himself. He's so big and strong out there, looks like a football player playing soccer

When Jozy first came on the scene i remember watching him and thinking that out side of being big and athletic, his touch and skill were comparable to me and my friends. Now he does things that are world class at times and his vision and touch are so much better. He really has surpassed all my expectations.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. I think Jozy is budding out to be one of our greatest strikers. However, his form with the USMNT is basically more to do with the team and how they are performing.

During his USMNT scoring drought, the lineups changed dramatically, injuries occurred, he wasn't getting full PT minutes. He wasn't starting, etc. etc. You may can say Jurgen was using him as an example. I don't know. But, Altidore has been "in-form" for the past calender year. It's nothing new.

This is his most important summer he has had. He needs to find a club that will use him well.

Yea he finally getting some service from our midfield. He proved in Holland that he can be a consistent scoring threat when getting good service.

Really? That seems low. Guess I don't know much about that sort of thing.

Well you gotta take into account a lot of factors.

1) He's American
2) He's had one really good season
3) His contract is up in 2015
4) The league in which he is dominating

If he plays next year and scores 40 goals next season, he could command a bigger transfer.
