Anyone know why we seem to always play our matches on Tues/Fri? I only casually follow soccer, but get into it during qualifying and WC time.

Why don't we play matches on the weekend? It's 8 am Wednesday morning in Australia whenever we play our matches and I'm at work .

Is there any reason for this? TIA!

Lol dick.

I still think it's weird we don't play on the weekends like the majority of sports. I guess I assumed soccer was a once-a-week, primarily weekend sport like football. Just a question.

It is pretty odd, especially since we had a week in between Panama and honduras.
