Very good article. I casually knew Pop 40 years ago at the Air Force Academy. Pretty damn good racquetball player. I think I still have some bruises.

Did your brother-in-law go to the USAF Academy with Pop? And they are squadrons.
ETA: I forgot to add, I was in San Antonio about 10 years ago on a business trip. Got to see the Spurs play. I was able to get pretty good seats.

Ok, cool, we called 'em squadrons at a&m too, didn't know if y'all had different jargon though
And, no, my brother in law just graduated from the Academy last month. He was just in the same squadron Pop was in once upon a time.

Got ya. Congrats to your brother-in-law on being a new 2nd Lt. Is he going to pilot training? It was strange not seeing the Thunderbirds fly at graduation.
