I love the tigers, but wouldn't surprise me if they go 2 and q thanks to Javi Sanchez. This is just like Miles and the offensive woes. Won't get rid of this douchebag and can't explain why. He replaced the pitching coach just like Miles did with Mallveto. Why can't he do the same for Sanchez? Miles finally got Cam, but waiting to see how that turns out.

Sanchez can't make adjustments in game. Until we do that, gonna do the same shite, high fastballs and long pop ups.

Sorry I am a realist, not a negatiger and I don't blame the players. They should be coached better.

Wow. LSU is one of the top hitting teams in the country and some of that has to do with coaching. I get just as frustrated watching the Braves get 3-hit in a game with loads of offensive talent, or B.J. Upton having the worst start of his career hitting .125 two months in and it's not due to the hitting coach. It's not like there is a switch the coach or team can flick and instantaneously generate 14 hits and 7 runs per game. Lot of vagaries in baseball you have to accept or move on to something else.

So Javi gets all the blame when we dont hit well in games...who gets all the credit for being one of the best offenses in the NCAA all year long?

How much has Fury pitched in this post season? The players need to focus on playing and not the fans.

Welcome to 2013. Every athlete is in touch with social media now. You can read/post a tweet and still be able to focus on your sport.

I agree but this is a pattern since 2010, so it should be addressed.

He should get the credit as well but what has been the bigger issue since our last ship, offense or pitching? I think most on here would agree that offense is the issue not pitching. And by the way the coach from Michigan st was not even a pitching coach so why have him do so?

Guess I am but we couldn't adjust last night and that isn't the 1st time this has happened. Sanchez needs to go.

For the sake of arguing I am not off the bandwagon, but voicing my opinion. If u don't agree then so be it.

I think you need to understand that hitting will never be the same or like it was in 09'. All teams have struggles in the game today. Teams get shut out or shutdown more than ever these days. It's not lack of coaching, it's lack of bats.

You have to see how moronic you sound saying that right now. Just go look at our hitting stats this year, you can't possibly complain about our hitting coach right now. There is no such thing as a dominant hitting ballclub anymore. This isn't the 90s. Pitching dominates.

Look at how Mark Laird has progressed this season, someone is coaching him. He gets some more reps and a little stronger and he could be scary next season. There was an overall talent dropoff after 2009, some recruits didn't pan out. Talent has been upgraded and hitting has improved, this year's lineup is much more productive than last year even with some seasoned guys performing below their career numbers at the plate. You can coach mediocre talent all you want and not see much upside, those are the seasons you really are complaining about.

LSU lives by extra base hits, not just HRs, that is what they do best. For a team with very good speed, they are not proficient base stealers nor base runners, but add some extra base hits per game and suddenly become very dangerous.

While I found the reaction last night laughable, I will say to Nate that if you enjoy the fevered fans and the best in nation support, that does not come without a potentially unhealthy emotional response and connection to the team....in both success and failure.
