My contention is that there is nothing more valuable than winning the Title.

One player doesn't win a title.

Everyone knows LeBron is the best player in basketball at this moment. By default he's ALWAYS the most valuable player.

By your logic, there should never be a season LeBron doesn't win a title.

But he is. my analysis on Wade is based on him continuing his play from the last two games up to the final two in Miami. Don't know how people can say Lebron when he has been tentative most of the series. He can drive to the basket anytime he wants, but refuses in place of passing waay too much. If he can go to the rim and attack Paul George and Hibbert he damn sure can do it with Leonard, Danny Green guarding him. But now all of a sudden he can't do this.

You're missing the point..

If DWADE is the best player and LeBron continues to play like a bitch...they wont win it all..thus no Miami player wins Finals MVP.

If you wanna say Wade has been the best Heat player the past two games. You are right. But Wade being better than LeBron doesnt equate to championships. See 2011. LeBron needs to be the best player on the floor for the Heat to win it all.

I get your point. You are basically sayin that in order for the Heat to win Lebron has to play great and that isn't true. When Wade plays like the old Wade they always win in most cases. They did in Game 4 and they will if he continues in the last two games. I think Lebron feeds off of Wade's energy to much sometimes instead of taking over games himself and imposing his will on opposing teams. You are right about last year he finally stepped up, but that hasn't been the case so for this series.

All Lebron needs to do is play his part.

If LeBron plays his part..

Then he's Finals MVP..

Don't see how if Wade continues his play. Even Lebron would agree.

That's exactly how it worked when Danny Green stripped him on the fast break.

No. That is not the "logic" at all.

Seeing that statement alone makes it seem as if even if he just stands out there he is the MVP. When he plays WELL he is the best player in basketball, so by default, if he is playing well he should always win MVP. Does he always play well? No. Then he should not always win MVP.

I hope D Wade keeps playing at the level he's showed in the last 2 games. Let's recap though....

Game 1: Lebron gets a triple double 18-18-10, D Wade does nothing.

Game 2: The Heat make a huge run to blow out the Spurs with D Wade on the bench.

Game 3: Both were absolutely horrible.

Game 4: Heat pull away in the 4th with Lebron on the bench. Wade was great, but Lebron game was very good also.

Game 5: Wade was good and Lebron was a below average.

Wade would have to outplay Lebron by a huge margin in game 6 and 7 to win the MVP, because without Lebron, this series is a 4-0 sweep.

edit: forgot to delete either....

he's 25-38 from 3. that's just stupid right there .

That's like shooting 99% from two point territory.

Crazy thing is Ray Allen is shooting a similar 3 point % as Green this finals. Just not as many shot attempts.

Ray Allen is shooting 22-34 from 3-point range this finals (which is very good), so yes he is close, but he's Ray Allen, so its expected that he shoots from 3 well(probably why you aren't hearing about it as much). Also, Ray Allen does nothing else in the box score besides shoot. If he doesn't shoot well, then he's basically worthless. He doesn't pass much or drive, doesn't defend, and definitely doesn't scrap. Danny Green has a block in every single game so far, averages a couple of assists, and about 3 rebounds, and you've seen the big plays on the defensive end with the LeBron fast break strip. Ray Allen hasn't had a single steal or block the entire series. He also doesn't even start. So he's clearly just a role player at best in the series and hasn't had the same impact as Green outside of 3-pt shooting efficiency, but 3-pointers aren't he only reason Green would win MVP.

He and Parker are the only non HOFers who have won since 85 I can say that for sure.

Billups, even if he wasn't an all-star, was all-star caliber for a 5-8 year window I'd say

Tony P is a HOFer even if he retired right now. He was an all-star before he won finals mvp.

Stats always don't tell the whole story. As I said earlier Game 4 was won because of Wade's effectiveness scoring the 32 in all types of ways on San Antonio. Then Lebron at the end of the game jacks up 3 meaningless jumpers one being a 3 hitting all 3 to outscoe Wade. People looking at the stats only would swear Lebron outplayed Wade.

Spolstra shouldn't have even had all 3 of his stars in at the end of that game because Popovich had already thrown in the towel by removing his top players.

Most times. They feed off his energy when he's hitting all these circus shots. The problem is the old Wade has been gone for awhile and only resurfaces occassionally.

That's his total FGM-FGA.

He's 11/17 on 3s so far.

Edit: Just realized he's 11/17 both inside out and outside the arc
