Affiliates change all the time, so there's no real opportunity to build loyalty.

Brewers fan. I do not follow the minor league system at all. I just hear that it's one of the worst as far as talent goes.

I was planning on seeing Jordan play baseball but he came back to the NBA right before the game.

I passively follow them as in I read the farm reports that are posted on blogs. It's nice to see the farm clubs pull in good records as it shows your team's prospects beating up on other team's prospects. But ultimately it's about player development.

I get updates from my FIL - he follows the Cardinals and their minor league affiliates. Has seen minor league games this year in Memphis, Springfield, Peoria and Palm Beach.

Back in the day when the Dodgers were relevant (Garvey, Lopes, Russell, Cey days) I would follow the farm system closely. Now, I could not even tell you where there farm clubs are located

Well, I work for a minor league team so I follow them. And I'm aware of how the other affiliates are doing. But, I'm mostly only a Nats fan because they pay the bills.
