good game

we clearly stole it tonight by riding on the arm of plutko and capitalizing on your few mistakes. you guys really are the best team in the tournament and i expect you to beat UNC. nola pitched great tonight.

good game

and before anyone asks. from the mega thread on
the rant:

i grew up in pasadena and would have went to UCLA if my family didnt move. spent most of my saturdays at the rose bowl, went to more games than i can count at pauley and jackie robinson field

Good game Bruins. Your infield didn't botch two routine plays, and your coach effectively used the bunt.

Congrats on your prowess for bunting to wins. Must be a riveting style of play to watch all season.

Better team tonight. Played more heady and more in control of emotions. That's a recipe for success in Omaha.

UCLA played well. Made only one mistake and kept LSU out of ever seriously threatening.

The hidden ball trick at the end is all I need to know about UCLA.

Phonies.

It truly is a great place to go get in a good nap on a Saturday afternoon while listening to another game on the radio.

It is what it is and it wins games. Been like that on the west coast for years. They beat us deal with it. If we want a title they need to find their nuts and fricking go get it.

2 unearned runs to 1 earned run. You're welcome.

The losers come out of the woodwork En Masse when the tigers lose.

Oh Well, very well played, fundamentally sound game Bruins, As Orel said, You played to the ballpark, and that is a recipe for success.

UCLA deserved to win. Usually close games comes down to who makes mistakes. LSU made them. UCLA didn't.

Yep. The defense was eager to give it away as well.

The lack of LSU getting the lead-off man on base was the key however IMO. Never got a chance to get things going.

Cannot believe we wasted a great pitching performance by Nola.

Yep. Augie Garrido is somewhere smiling right now. It's just so very entertaining scoring 0 ER and "out dueling" the other team's ace.
