Thinking about purchasing new gas grill. I grill at least 3-5 times a week. Price range would be under 1,500. What do you guys recommend?

Your options are pretty much limitless if your budget is $1,500.

For $1500 I could get a good gas grill, a smoker, a kegetator and keg set up for my homebrew

Want one that would also be adaptable for a future brick outdoor kitchen. This will be a lifetime grill. Priced some Webers today at Lowes. Top line ones were well over 1200.

I was just comparing the Weber genesis e-330 to the Weber Summit s-420, and to me, there's not enough of a bonus to spend the extra money. The grilling surface isn't much bigger (507 vs 538 sq in). You get about 10,000 more BTU, but it's not worth it to me. I have the E-620 and I love it, but I got a great deal on it, (I think around $1400-1500). When I build an outdoor kitchen, I'm either going to take off the sides and slide it in place, or take the top off the cart, but it came assembled, so I'm not sure if/how it comes apart.

I have the

Check out Fire Magic. They are very nice, but pricey. There might be a model in your price range.

If I was me, I would get the Weber Genesis and save half of that budget. Don't pay extra for SS. It's such a pain to keep looking good.

FYI - I own a Summitt, and I would get the Genesis if I was buying today. The Genesis when I bought mine (10 years ago), was the equivalent of the Spirit, now.

Notice I said 10 years ago. My grill is no where near ready for the scrap heap. It's got another 10+ years left in it.

Check out the Holland Apex for $1,099. I love my Holland grill, but it's not for the impatient.

Not saying it's the right answer for you, but I bought a Weber Genesis a couple weeks ago... (and I really like it, so far.)

Before you buy, be sure to go check out Goodwood Hardware... nice selection, they seem pretty knowledgable, and had it assembled in about 2 hours.

There's a reason why there are so many positive responses to the Genesis ! I totally agree, the SS is not worth the extra money, go with the Genesis and pick you up one of these AKORN KAMADO with the extra money you have to spend. The BGE is nice, but this thing works GREAT for 1/3 the price. You won't be sorry.
