They were in Southeast Louisiana.

They were actually somewhere around New Orleans so it's not out of the realm of belief.

Still watching the premiere right now.

I am trying to finish up Clash of Kings tonight and start Storm of Swords. Trying to finish all the books by next season which I am definitely capable of doing. I'll probably watch the True Blood episode tomorrow.

Since the Authority was located in New Orleans, I figured they were at Lake Pontchartrain.

I saw TB the night it premiered and Ive enjoyed it.

I stopped watching tonight about 20 minutes in and told my wife I was done, lol.

It's like they let a six year old write the dialogue and story and everyone forgot how to act.

I swear it looked like a Funny Or Die parody of True Blood.

fricking awful.

I hope we're not supposed to regard the Louisiana governor as evil and/or misguided in any way because I'm totally on board with his plan.

If there's a war coming down the pike, the vampires clearly started it.

Only caught part of the show, but it was an action filled episode tonight from what I saw. The plot is all over the place and a bunch of new characters have been introduced.

They sure did make him different than our actual governor.

This was a good premiere. I really think that the governor is going to be a villain this season.

Oh and it's good to see that Tara is still annoying as frick. Will she die already, please?

WTF? The sheriff's daughters are now three years old? At this rate, those girls are going to be knockouts fairy bimbos in like a day or two.

Alcide has got it made with his girl getting jealous but then let him have a threesome.

I honestly have no idea how the other storylines are going to shake out. Looks like this season has potential.

I know right?

Gluttons for punishment I guess. But honestly it's not that bad. Previews looked promising.

It's not high art by any stretch of the imagination.

It's campy.
And it's always entertaining.

People call it absurd as an insult.
I call it absurd as a compliment.

It is a story about vampires. Absurdity is the premise of the show.

I'm still hoping Terry ends up being a Wear Bear.

I'm glad to see that Rutger Hauer is just as evil while picking up hitchhikers as he was when C. Thomas Howell picked him up years ago.
