Besides watching Ninja Turtles during Saturday Morning Cartoons as a toddler on CBS, my earliest memory is when I was about 5 and we just moved to Louisiana and we got cable for the first time. I was blown away but how revolutionary that was to me . I remember watching the Disney Channel and they were playing Honey I Shrunk the Kids and the Care Bears movie. That was also around the time Nick created the 3 original Nicktoons (Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy). It was a good time to get cable.

Honest question. Did you find a time machine and are you posting from the late 80's since the last two weeks?

My two earliest memories:

1.) Watching "The Brady Bunch" on the floor of my grandmother's living room on her HUGE GIGANTIC 19" Curtis Mathis COLOR television.

2.) Watergate Hearings in the morning instead of Sesame Street. I never thought I'd see Sesame Street again. I missed Oscar, and Big Bird, and Maria, and Mr. Hooper, et. al.

I loved this. I knew Shatner from this not Star Trek. I used to always ask my mom how they happened to have a camera during the accidents and why didn't they help.

With the dancing frog? I used to watch Smart Guy and Nick Freno: Liscensed Teacher on there.

I remember being pissed Power Rangers was interrupted because of the OKC Bombings. Damn you Clinton!

I went to some in-home daycare before I started preschool and I remember we watched TV in the afternoons. I remember watching ET, some Barbie cartoon where they were riding in the pool of some limousine, and a Reese's Pieces commercial where the guy is standing there and his different articles of clothing are changing.

Gotcha. Didn't know you had a thing. Thought you just been on a big nostalgia kick.

Here's the farthest back I can remember.

Your avatar was a big part of my nostalgia in the summer of 95' with baseball and the homerun derby.
