The Anon Player Rater they have on twitter was lighting into the list for excluding Graham. Down year, but I agreed with all of his points made

2-3 years is nice, but he's been doing it for much longer was my point.

I think Graham has the potential to have that type of career. If his "down" years are like last year, he could wind up the greatest TE ever.

That said, he's only had 2 great years. Once he gets to 5 we'll call him(or anyone else) consistently great.

looks that way.

Jahri Evans has made it every year they've done this but I doubt he will this year. I think they did #30- #21 tonight. So unless he went some where in there, it aint happening.

Well first you should include "all" Saints fans in your question. Those "others" may have better points to make.
Second the top 100 is a crappy list.
Jimmy is still a top three TE in the NFL.

You can throw Gates in there as well

True in a way, but he had the wrist problem which lead to so many drops.

You mean the guy that had 1 big year?

LINK

Yeah I know he had injuries last year but he is only 3 years in the league and his first year only had decent TE stats(save for the tds which was still not OMGAMAZING his first year, just above average).

He's been up and down. Injuries there too but that is my point. Gonzalez has been the only one recently to do it year in and year out.

LINK

Gates would be the 2nd after Gonzalez but he is definitely a notch below. He's only has 2 seasons over 80 catches.

LINK

Graham has had two amazing years in a row and if he stays healthy he will exceed Gates easily and push Gonzalez for best TE in recent history. But he has to stay healthy. The production will be there.

So again, show me 5+ years of consistent greatness from another TE. Not a 1 year wonder or someone who has had a couple of great years and only decent to above average other ones.

Graham definitely deserved to be on the list this year. His "down" year almost matched Gates best 2 years and most of Tony's great years.

But I'm not mad. I'm hoping he uses this as motivation to get even better.

They're wrong. He is a top 100 player, but whatever.

So you don't think Gronk would have rather played 15 games and had 85 catches and almost 1,000 yards as opposed to having played 11 games, catching 55 passes, and pulling in nearly 800 yards?

Yes I'm stupid for saying Jimmy had a better year than Gronkowski last year.

I think he's saying Gronk's hype outmatches his production, not his talent.

I think he was also saying that Tony Gonzalez is the standard by which consistently great TE's should be measured. Graham has the potential to be that type of player.

I quit watching NFLN when they made a put Tebow in "Top Ten Heisman Winners in the NFL." They are as bad as ESPN and never get called out on it.

But seriously, how many times can you watch the same Top Tens From 4 years ago, "Hey Rookie," and reruns of "Hard Knocks?" It's not like NFL Films has billions of hours of programming and archives in their vaults.

When they start showing old NFL Films shows that aren't follies, I will go back.
