Just started getting into him the past couple of months, pretty awesome stuff. All the 70's albums with Brian Eno are just great (everything Eno touched in the 70's and early 80's was ridiculous)

His mid 70's stuff(Paris 1919, Fear, Slow Dazzle, Helen of Troy) is so consistent and totally underrated. I know he was all avant garde with Velvet Undergound but he really knows how to make some really good pop music (Paris 1919 in particular)

Anyway here's a few of my favorites by him:

Paris 1919

Barracuda

Mr. Wilson

Graham Greene

Helen of Troy

Just seeing if anybody else on the board was a fan of his solo stuff.

If not, check him out, those 4 albums are all terrific.

Cale does the best version of "Hallelujah"

"A Child's Christmas in Wales" -- Another great cut from Paris 1919

He was in the Patti Smith Group and the Velvet Underground. What's not to like?
