I'll second the .44 magnum vote. I mean who wouldn't want to be Dirty Harry?

The thing about suppressors, sbr's, and CCL that I dont like is having to ask my govt permission and putting my name on a list that makes me more of a target in the event Obama and co. decide to nut up on God fearing Christian gun owners.

the thing is I fear everyone that has bought a gun legally at a gun store is already on a list. I know it is illegal for the goverment to have a gun registry, but especially with all this bull with coming out about the NSA tracking internet searches and eveything else. I fear its too late.

I say go ahead and get a suppressor or SBR have some fun, and get involved contacting you representatives letting them know that you do not support any type of new gun laws.

Handi rifle in 300 blackout and 1-4x scope.

Then next play goes to suppressor.

I might sell mine. It is the best shooting gun I've ever owned but since I have the tactical too, one of them needs to find a new home. For those wondering, the slightly smaller tactical with trijicon sights and no lightening cut is a more practical weapon to carry (meaning in the truck, etc.).

My wife is probably going to sell her Beretta PX-4 Storm as well. Brand arse new. Just likes her Baby Eagle better.

I like the mini 14, but next rifle will be either another ar or an ak. I think I'm gonna pass on the XDM. I've got a sub compact 9mm already.

+1 on the 1911. I'm not biased or anything though...

Every collection needs a 1911.

.45 and around $700. 200 rounds through it, 3 magazines, holster and mag holster, speed loader. Not in a hurry, just can't see keeping them both.

I'm thinking you're right. Although, I've been giving more thought to building an ar since parts are starting to become available again.

You can build a nice $800-900 AR from palmetto state right now.

They have good deals on several different kits.

I was in Academy today and I saw that they had the DPMS Oracle .223/5.56 for $750. It seemed really solid, but the online reviews have been hit or miss. I cant tell if it's fan boys dogging the DPMS or if it's really something wrong with the rife. What are ya'lls thoughts? I know I can build one cheaper. I've seen the lowers and uppers on the net, I've just never looked into the DPMS.

This is on my wishlist. If it's good enough for the secret service, I should have one too. O-bama's family is no more important than mine. I think it might be a tad over your budget though.
