I'm not mad at LSU for their process of ticket allocation. I'm just baffled at only 700 per team that makes it to a game. Doesn't the stadium hold something like 30,000?

Somewhere around 24,000.

LSU gets 700 tickets for each game we play. I assume that includes tickets that go to the players for their families.

take from those also the alumni assoc. they were taking applications earlier for flights, hotel rooms and tickets to all games in which LSU will play including the championship game if they make it. so there is a couple hundred tickets easily. So you take those 2 hundred, players tickets, the 100 or so for the athletic dept. which flies back and forth for LSU's games, and you don't have but probably a 200 or 300 left. unless when they say each school gets 700, that is for distribution to the fans. Hell the ncaa requires 600 for a fan base for the super regionals.

I hadn't thought about that. I bet the 700 is net of team, AD, and AA allotment.

Did you listen to his interview? They were buying tickets elsewhere...

Well, the only way for the tickets to be obtained is to pick them up in Omaha, by the season ticket holder himself. That is my understanding, anyway

I guarantee that many who needed 2 bought the maximum so that they could gas up their RV off the backs of their fellow fans.

Pretty sure is the top 486 TAF members, which basically means the people that are loaded and give millions to TAF

Bascially means you don't know what you're talking about

Eta yes ranking cut off of 486 based on points but millions? Lol no

Wiki says 36,000 and LSU gets 700, that's worse than some JErry Jones shite right there

Well the actual page says 24,500 after you click on it, expandable to 35,000

It's still worse than a Jerry Jones ripoff

A lot of locals bought grandstand seats in advance and will be selling them outside nearby before the games. Not sure where the seats will be, but there will be tickets available if you're not looking to sit in general admission.

I thought most lsu baseball fans already had tickets since they go to the cws every year whether lsu plays or not.

I'm curious. I had been on the waiting list for CWS tickets since 1996. Every year the CWS sends me a "Sorry not yet". letter. This year they congratulated me because my number came up, and i had the opportunity to purchase 2 books of CWS tickets. This is tickets for every game. You have one opportunity to turn them down and still be eligible to be offered them again next year. If you turn them down the 2nd time, you lose them. The tickets were on the upper tier down the 3rd base line in the outfield, and with a price tag of $400 per book I turned them down. This was in April. I knew I couldn't go this year, but the tickets aren't the best and i didn't think i could get rid of them. would anyone on here have been interested if i'd have purchased them?

#486 checking in here, or you can call me lucky. After giving millions to TAF, I am deadass broke and need any help I can get with hotel room and transportation to Omaha. I like this baseball team. Didn't get to watch all of the super regional because I couldn't find my seat, finally did with the help of one of those marshal guys. Oh yeh, he made that guy that was sitting in my seat move, he didn't have the right wrist band on anyway. See you in Omaha!
