Let's discuss young Josmer

23 years old, 31 goals in Europe, running sh*t in WCQ. He's playing the lone striker position like a seasoned vet. There's no doubt in my mind he'll be champions league quality sooner than later.
My question, and I know it's been posted before, but does Jozy need another year in Holland, or is it time for him to move onto bigger and better things?
AZ has been stellar for his development, I almost think he should stay one more year. He's their sure fire first choice striker, he's in the form of his life. I'd hate to see him move to England, Germany, Italy, and become a 3rd choice player fighting for minutes.
1 more in holland, ball out in the WC, and then make the move.

I'm totally down with him spending another year in Holland. That said, I would also love to see him playing constantly for an EPL side.
Ives thinks there is 0% chance of him staying at AZ after this summer.

that seems to be the consensus, so if it's inevitable, where would you like to see him go?
I've seen Schalke and Lazio thrown around as potential suitors.

If he stays in Holland, I'd like to see him go to a better club PSV/Ajax and play along side better players... I dont think Adam Maher will be at AZ next year either...

Yeah if Maher is gone I really hope Jozy jumps ship too. Would be cool to have him play at Ajax for a year and then make the move to a bigger league.
As for potential teams I say Bundesliga or EPL, although I've heard Italy would be a good fit for him. He could replace Jovetic at Fiorentina. Not huge on him going to Lazio though, for obvious reasons.

I knew I wasn't going crazy and saw this somewhere.
I can tell you one thing, AZ wanted more for him than I was willing to pay to bring him to White Hart Lane in FIFA 13.

In a World Cup year, I'd prefer for him to play regularly somewhere, and then move.

I think a move for him to Shalke would be a good one for him and would make a lot of sense.

Combo package of maher and jozy for BvB obviously.

I think a mid tier team in any of the big 4 leagues would be good. He should get enough service from most teams at that level and consistent playing time. With Maher most likely leaving, he almost certainly must leave as well. I wouldn't hate him going to a team in a smaller league as long as that team played in the champions league and their normal competition wasn't much lower than the dutch league.

I don't really want him to go to Italy. Schalke or an EPL team would be cool with me, or any other Bundesliga team where he would be the starter.

It would be nice if he was paired with another really good American but it's not like he's going to end up at tottenham or roma. If stoke didn't have such an ugly style it would be cool to see him with Cameron and shea. (If shea ever actually plays for them).

Hughes stoke city with cameron in a central mid role

I'd prefer he move (losing Maher will hurt). preferably to a mid-table team in England, Germany, or even Italy. still not sure of his quality due to the impossibility of gauging future success based on Dutch league success, but the signs are promising. hope he continues to improve.
