Invasive species. In Uptown NOLA they have wiped out the native green anoles. Much more aggressive and lay larger clutches of eggs. I haven't seen a native green anole since last August.

They look like mini dinosaurs. White spots on the back and humps. I've seen them eat the native ones like I would eat a potato chip.

Speaking of invasive, the geckos have been a success. I hardly see a bug around anymore. I don't even have to spray. There may be a negative impact, but so far I am ignorant of any. Just need to teach them to eat fire ants.
