I know it sounds crazy but if LSU wins this year that would give MAINieri TWO national tiles during a time when there is MUCH more parity in college baseball. When will the forbidden discussion begin? When will their whispers start being heard?
Can MAINieri PASS Bertman as the greatest coach in LSU Baseball history and be the MAIN man? Has he already?

Even then, Skip built this from nothing...that says a hell of a lot. Even though LSU had some down years before PM, PM didn't necessarily take over a load of crap.

Skip 5 championships 13 cws appearances revolutionized the college game and helped grow its popularity.
It's like trying to compare Lebron to MJ (wait don't want to open that box

CPM is great but he pales in comparison to skip who is one of the greatest if not greatest college baseball coaches of all time and could rank up there with the greats of college basketball and college football.

Mainieri is very good but Skip might be the GOAT in college baseball. Definitely different eras with the bats but Skip is a huge reason why college baseball is where it is today.
Oh and the rantards will be calling for Mainieri's head if/when he loses his 1st game in Omaha.
